To Aunty Dot

Not to mention any request or any names for this post, but the birthday girl... ehem, woman, one fine day asked for a birthday post, so this is all for you, Aunty Dorothy!

This is Dorothy Tan. Nope, not Dorothy Perkins. And nope, that's not her outlet store because she had to pay for what she bought and neither can she give anything to me for free from that store. Too bad...

Aunty Dot and my mum has gone from way long ago, when the family and the caregroup from a church gather together in 136 Nanas Road. They would collaborate many things together; from preparing and wrapping presents for the elderly to preparing bbq for caregroup camp at Pandan beach, Lundu. Ahhh... those were the beautiful and fun days when you can hear a loud roar of laughter when you answer the phone. You will immediately know it was 'my mother's laughing friend' because instead of getting a 'hello', you would get 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh, is your mum there? QUICK! Got to tell her something HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!'. Then my mum would rush to the phone and I can assure to you those were the days we won't need fireworks to scare the chinese new year's ghost away, you just need both of them together.

And their conversation went on like these;

Mum: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHEHEHEHE! Oh HAHAHAHA!
Phone: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA YA! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Mum: Really? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Mmmmm hehehehehe!
Phone: You HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I KNOW! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Mum: *big eyes pop* HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I might exaggerate a bit, but you see, I was young! Do you expect me to remember everything?

Anyway there was a period of time when we were separated and I was wondering, where were all the laughter? It was a moment of solemn, indeed...

Till suddenly, many years later, they met again! Thought their HAHAHAHAHAHA are not as loud as it was before due to their age and *ehem* maturity, their HAHAHAHAHAHA are more feminine now. Haha!

Aunty Dot is an animal lover. She loves Monster to a point she would dress up, followed my mum to Monsters cage and gave her a bath. Oh she had cats before, I just don't know what happened to them.

Aunty Dot is someone you call a friend in need is a friend indeed. Not that she is the one in need, she is the one who is always needed. The coolest part is her life is filled with events that she get to enjoy those event and benefits. Benefits that includes,
  1. Getting to dine in 1st class hotel for free from invitation
  2. Getting discounts
  3. Free high class food
  4. More food and invite Jesmine along
  5. Jesmine enjoyed and enjoys
  6. FOOD!
  7. Hurray!
This this Uncle Bernard and Aunty Dot. There are husband and wife. She's not available. Too bad, men.

Aunty Dot enjoys food. But for this moment she better not because she needs to be on diet until she can wear a bikini. Don't picture silly things alright. If there is a will, there is hope! A one piece swinsuit will be fine though.

Hey lookie what I got here! Aunty Dot with no make up and pure surprise face! So nice right? It was taken exactly 2 years ago when my mum almost made it a day earlier and we had to control our laughing noise outside the apartment due to wrong date!

Happy birthday Aunty Dorothy! May you have a wonderful year and may you gain the weight you desire! God bless!
